My inspiration comes from the vibrant seasonal colors found right in my Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC. These colors became the inspiration for the philosophy behind Color Drenched(TM) decorating – that you should live in the colors you love. This whimsical approach is found in everything from cocktail napkins made from a 1940’s vintage dress to neon martini shakers. My work applauds the modern use of color, but takes a bow toward traditional décor.

I feel happy when I look at these rooms. The vibrant colors are so refreshing and a welcome change from conservative Washington interiors. There is joy in Heidi's work and a touch of spring year round.
What a treat to see such a fresh fusion of retro color and modern sensibility. I love the clean lines and lack of clutter in these designs, allowing the eye to rest on a simple focal point.
